Happy Chinese New Year

Our theme for January was Chinese New Year. Dominic, Isaac and Johann decorated Side by Side with some awesome paper lanterns that they made, but really everyone was focused on one thing: jiaozi. Jiaozi is Chinese for dumplings, and just before the Chinese New Year holiday, we made two different kinds: chicken, carrot, vermicelli rice noodles and garlic chives and pork, celery and garlic chives. They were all delicious and a great way to celebrate the coming Year of the Rooster.
