Taylor’s Present
Taylor only has one more day, next week on our excursion, as part of our day programme. As this Wednesday was her last day with us at the Side by Side centre, we decided to give her her goodbye present now. Over the last few weeks, Taylor has been writing a spring song together with Dominic, Max and Janine. They made colourful frames with spring decorations, showing the song lyrics and a picture of the group. This week Max, Dominic and Janine gave it to Taylor.
Cycling
This week Max, Dominic and Janine took turns cycling on Side by Side’s bicycle. We first had to go and get the tyres pumped! Dominic, Janine and Max all took it in turns to pump air into the tyres, before then taking it in turns to ride the bike. It was very funny when Dominic cycled and Mali decided to hop on the back of the bicycle! Max found the bike a little too big, so we adjusted the seat for him and then he quickly cycled away! Janine decided to start learning how to ride a bicycle and so she had to be brave to sit down on the bicycle and to start cycling; she found it scary at first, but kept going and enjoyed herself. It was a fun event and we have decided that now we want to cycle more often.
