Spring Song

For the last few weeks Taylor, Max, Dominic and Janine have been writing a song about spring. They experimented singing to basic guitar rhymes and found a nice melody for their song. They practiced their song over several weeks, singing both as a group and individually. They gave a few concerts to Anita and Mali, as well as some of their ayis and drivers! They typed the song lyrics on the computer and printed them. Then they put them in frames and decorated the frames with a spring theme. Every member of the group wrote a few lines for the song and the end result is a very happy spring song. Here are the song lyrics:

Spring, Spring, Spring, Spring, Spring

Verse 1:

Plants are growing

The grass is getting greener

I can play outside

And put sausages on the BBQ

Verse 2:

I can ride a bike

Rabbits are hopping

We can play with a ball

And I show you butterflies

Chorus:

The sun is out

Birds are flying in the sky

Flowers are blooming

Spring, spring, spring, spring, spring
