Restoring our Old Chinese Drum

In our music therapy room we have an old Chinese drum, which is one of the most used instruments in our music therapy sessions. Sadly the red colour started to fall off so we decided to restore the drum. Dominic, Max, Janine and Taylor used sandpaper to rub off the rest of the red colour and then they painted the drum green. After that all of our clients made a colourful print of their hand on the drum. This whole project has taken just over two months to complete, and everyone really likes the result. Also featuring in the photos below are Lena, Kiera, Claudia, Madeline, AlanaChristopher, Jayden and Shelton and their painted hands.
